Pours clear golden with cream colored head. Aroma of stale hops. Similar taste, very oxidized tasting for its age. Thin to medium bodied.

Taster at brewery. Clear golden pour, thin foamy head, lacing. Piney, floral aroma . Taste is hoppy. Just the right amount. Piney, spruce, juniper. Slick and smooth. well done.

Had a pint at the brewery today while having lunch with Da Boss for $7.00.
Beer was served clear gold with a nice white head.
Nose was pretty good, hints of citrus come forward.
Taste was good, a nice start with a lighter malt base that displays the citrus and a touch of tropical hops nicely. Finishes with a nice piney hop; 7/10 on my bitterness scale.
Mouthfeel is extraordinarily light and clean for an IPA.
Overall a very nice underrated IPA!

On tap at brewery:
Maybe a bit more than a chill haze on this slight amber brew. The head at the taproom is a dense puck, and I’m getting striated lacing marks.
Malt opening with a slight honey sweetness, the carbonation on a cold beer is just on the aggressive side in this pour. Getting past that, there is a more classic pine hop profile, which brings a moderate plus level of bitterness.
Letting the beer warm before I could get to the aroma, I’m getting a sort of honey grain bread with some grapefruit rind and pine, but it isn’t as strong as I’d expect.

16oz can, wine glass, canned 4/13/21.
Nice clear golden beer topped with that papyrus crackly head of a good finger. Decent retention.
Sticky, lemon oil, papaya, yellow grapefruit.
Softer fruit flavors in the mouth. Lychee, papaya, a little lemon, and a dank undertone. Moderate hop bitterness with a bit of alcohol bitterness thrown in.
I would say this does qualify as west coast, however it’s not the grittiest one you’ll find. A little juicy, medium bitterness and medium-low dryness.
Front Royal is making some good beer and I can’t wait to try more West Coast IPAs from them.
