Good West Coast IPA! Poured from a 16 oz can into a pint glass. this beer featured a big, frothy white head and thick bands of lacing. The color started out a clear gold with a smaller, foamy white head and light, spotty lacing. Subsequent pours produce a hazy cardboard box/dull yellow color and the big head and lacing. Aroma and taste are moderately bitter with a piney and somewhat more moderate citrus character. Good flavor and bitterness. Mouthfeel is crisp, bitter and with little alcohol presence. Not a hop bomb head shrinker, but a good solid IPA!!

Brewery description: "DDH Gracious Living DIPA 8.3% - We took our favorite flagship IPA and stepped it up a notch. This double IPA utilizes a blend of 5 different hops in a two-stage dry-hop. This provides pronounced notes of citrus, pine and a variety juiced fruits. Gracious Living - Rich In Tradition"
From a week-old can, pours a clear deep gold. White head of foam leaves patches of lacing. Smell and taste are piney and citrusy, with some floral notes. Bitterness is light for the style, restrained by the dry hopping. Great West Coast style IIPA.
