Can: Another nice WCIPA from Vibrissa, though it lacks a little on the nose. Personally, I'd easily trade flavor for aroma, so I'm good overall there. Head is a little loose, but with a good volume added to a clear body and you have a pretty decent looking beer. Nose has citrus - a mix of tangerine and grapefruit pith - mix with general grainy notes. It's like the aroma is alluding to a classic WCIPA, but not wanting to really say it out loud.
Taste starts barely on the sweet side, but an earthy to husky bitterness keeps that in check. A nice level of carbonation and medium light body counter the earthiness. As the beer dries, a little fruit peeks in but gets scared and leaves pretty quickly. Classic PNW pine takes over, in an unrushed, methodical way, until the end seems a bit [pine] woody.
