16oz can, stange glass, canned 7/4/23.
Slightly hazed gold with a thick yellowed white head.
Tropical, slight cattiness, passion fruit, and the typical Nelson Sauvin juicy white grape that’s almost candy-like.
Flavors follow the nose and carry a medium hop and light alcohol bitterness. White grape, pear, lychee. It’s not fully West Coast, it’s a little too juicy and not quite bitter or dry enough.
Very medium bodied and oddly a little neutral for an IPA. Carbonation is also light.
I’m a sucker for single hop beers. This is a nice show case, but I think the West Coast tag is not spot on.

A bit of haze ti this paje golden ale. Head builds nicely, falls moderately, and provides almost no lacing. Feel is also a little odd as it starts with a sweeter grain tea with a little fizziness and never quite dries out. At least the hop bitterness does take over and has a nice linger.
Nose is providing the promise of a bit more bitterness that I get in the taste. There is a grape leaf sturdy greens backbone with some grapefruit pith, candied lemon, and a bit of sweet spice. Slight extraction is the spice borders on or might include some fusel-like notes.
Taste starts on the sweet honey Hawaiin roll bread dude, with guava and tangerine flesh paired with a melange of citrus peels. The grape leaves with a few tomato stem shavings pick up past midway through and hold into the linger.

A nice west coast IPA. Worried about consistency (across a 4-pack).
A - cloudy dark yellow. the second can I poured was very cloudy and brown, but third was same as first.
S - resiny and sweet blossoms dominate.
T - Definitely west coast style with a decent but not overwhelming bitterness. Very minor sweetness.
MF - medium light body, crisp.
