On tap at brewery:
Sampler pour was much clearer, but in a mug, a light haze is obvious. A pale yellow, lightly hazed body has a medium collar, at best. Lacing is similarly light on the mug (compared to sampler) so I dropped initial look rating down.
Nose isn’t going to overpower you, but there’s a cracker to biscuity malt base with a light orange rind citrus note.
Clean, medium light feel has a nice carbonation level. Cracker malt has a nicely balancing citrus bitter flavor in back. Lingering note leans ever so slightly bitter, but there’s a little sweetness on the top of my tongue as well.
A nice pale ale, with a clean, nuanced balance of malt and citrus hops.
