Bear Hop pours a clean copper color, with a smaller-sized, but massively lacing head. The aroma is very earthy. The flavor is very earthy, with a hint of resin. Good fee. Overall, a bitter IPA, very, very earthy, with a hint of pine.

Pours a clear honey gold with a thick dense white head. Nice lacing. Aroma is faint, some lemon, mild pine. Flavor follows the nose with not much pizzaz. Feel is light and has low carbonation. Overall, I'm unimpressed.

16 oz can canned 10/7/24 into a shaker pint.
L: SRM 5 pours a lightly yeasty honey color with medium-light steady carbo, a thin flat white head that recedes to a creamy froth, med-thick lacing with heavy full sheeting.
S: Caramelized malts, light candy sweetness, not very expressive.
T: Lemon, grapefruit zest, pine resin, very hop frwd, a hint of dry fruit bread, grains, it is tart and is lightly sharp, it has light candy sweetness as does the aroma,. It displays contrasting bold bright resin and citrus zest.
F: Brisk, broad, medium bodied mouthfeel with a medium length lightly dry finish that has dry lingering aftertastes. Becomes more smooth and slightly creamy with warming.
O: Big time lemon and resin tastes. Caramel malts emerge more with warming. Gets smooth over time. It is bold and fairly tart overall and is very good to excellent in its style.

A - Pours a fairly clear, copper color, short white head which fades into a wispy cap. The lacing is extensive. Looks pretty good.
S - Strong hit of pine and lemony citrus, with a bit of minerality beneath.
T - Follows the nose, with a lemon open, pine and caramel notes right behind. Dankness appears sometime in the middle, with the bitterness asserting itself in the finish, coming in the form of a tea-like tannic bite.
M - Moderate weight with decent carbonation, and a dry close that brings a bit of resin build that lingers.
O - A solid modern American IPA, mostly of the West Coast variety.

I am trying this beer off the tapper as part of a four sample flight whilst traveling through on my way up to Dryden for my son's exhibition SIJHL hockey games. The beer is good and hemp notes and subtle citrus presence.

16oz can. Poured out a clear, golden amber color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left sudsy patches of lace on the glass. It smelled toasted caramel, roasted malt, pine and some citrus. It tasted very malty with caramel and a piney bitterness.

16oz can with no date. I am enjoying this IPA more than other recent IPAs. It is a departure from the fruit juice drinks brewers having been offering for the last several years. Has some good bitterness with hops that are floral and herbal with notes of pine and grapefruit. Mild dankness with a bit of weed in the aroma. Ten years ago I would not of given this IPA a second look. But what is old is new again.

16 oz can no date . Pours a clear golden color with a 2 finger fluffy head . Smell is dank and fruity. Taste has citrus musk melon and garden hops . Mouth feel is dank sweet and malty ,nit much bitterness or dryness. OK IPA nothing for me to purchase again.

Dark amber, with an orange hue. Floral/herbal aroma, with a spiced, medium roasted malt character. Really smooth, moderate bite, floral/pine hop flavors, with a good, spiced medium, heavily toasted malt backbone. Balanced hop & malt finish.

16 oz can bought in Grand Rapids. No idea on the date. From facebook it looks like the original release was June 20,2019 for Crowlers. Just not sure on freshness as there are no dates I see on the cans.
Pours a bit turbulent...big frothy white head with a nice clean, clear lager like appearance.
Not a big nose but pineapple is up front....some floral notes as well...
A nice pineapple flavor accented by some floral notes..with a sturdy malt backing...More balanced that hoppy.
Overall it's OK...maybe more vibrant if fresh....maybe not...no idea...no dates..
