Deep, dark brown. No light passes. Good start for the head but dies out completely and leaves no lace.
Sweet start to the smell. There’s a cocoa aroma that transforms into a smell reminiscent of graham crackers. Some alcohol to the nose as well.
Very rich. Low carbonation. Reminds me of molten lava chocolate cake. Not sweet per se, but the bourbon-like flavors of dark cherry and boozy alcohol are predominant throughout the tasting. Definitely a sipping stout. Overall, this is over-the-top in flavor, smell, and body.
