32oz crowler from the brewery - Bloomingdale, IL. Filled 8/9. 5.4% ABV.
L: cola colored ale with a foamy tan head
S: cocoa, peanut butter, dark grain, earthy hops
T: peanut butter, cocoa nib, dark grain, caramel, raisin, earthy hops
F: medium body, ample carbonation, nicely balanced finish
O: first time trying a Wolfden beer even though I’ve driven past the brewery hundreds of times. Also a first time trying a trail mix inspired Porter. This was a good experience!
