Copenhagen 23/8 2021. 40 cl from tap at Kølsters 12 Haner, Rantzausgade, Kbh. N.
Pours unclear, almost hazy, yellow with a rather small white head. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a fruity sweet odor mingling with a stronger tart and citric scent. Sweet malts. Peach and canned pineapple. Tart citrus.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, oily, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger tart sourness. Aftertaste is tart and lingers for a bit. Finish is fairly dry.
Refreshing, straightforward and very summer-like. Perfect refreshment at a café in the sun. But I miss a touch of yeast to give me a bit of Saison Vibe.
