Sapience RIS embodies that definition to its' core. Sapience was brewed with 2-row, M. Otter, Carafa, C-77, Chocolate and White Wheat malts. There are no crazy adjuncts and it's not overly bitter.. What you have is a beautiful beer that's well balanced, highly drinkable, and if you let it warm up to room temperature you're going to fall in love with all of the nuanced flavors it has to offer.

Too big and cloying, no real complexity or malt character just harsh, dark grain astringency and effusive alcohol.
Almost nasty bitter finish and aftertaste.
May be better after a year in a cellar but if past years are any indication, it won't help.
