Taster at brewery. Light hazy golden pour. Tart lime aroma. Taste brings more tartness, some of the agave, followed by the requisite saltiness. On point.

500 ml bottle from the brewery store. I bought two of these a few months ago and drank one right away. The first one was good but I think it has improved with age. Look: pours slightly hazy dark gold with no head. Aroma: tequila, wood. Taste: lime, very tart, tequila. Strong cracker finish, lime aftertaste. Really good.

insanely sour, like some of the cascade stuff almost, harsh to drink to the extent even sharing a flight pour with my wife felt like a huge dose of it, almost novelty level acidity, but its tasty beer and has a lot going for it. tons of tequila in nose and taste, not wood so much as the spirit itself which is cool. the lime is very natural, seems fresh zested, and even if it adds to the pucker, the flavor is money, and its a needed fresh element in a rather heavy beer for the style. deeper in color than most gose types, stronger, more body, more of a toasted nutty wheat base instead of a raw or pale one, which holds up to the tequila well but makes this slower drinking. its only salty super late, and somewhat subtly at that, i could take a little more, but its a classic mix of flavors that many breweries now have played with. like many of their beers, this could use more bubbles, i need more life in a gose, especially with all this flavor, it sags a little in feel. the sourness is absurd, its way too much, and that hurts it, dial it back a bit and this is immediately a better beer. that said, they have done a pretty good job with this overall, even if i was happy to be sharing it. lots of tequila, real lime, high pucker.
