Sommerfrisk is a juicy, fresh and refreshing summer beer from Hr. Skov. We have added freshly pressed apple juice and extract of paradise apples harvested in the Skov family's gardens.
Sommerfrisk is fermented with 2 types of yeast, English ale yeast and champagne yeast - a very refreshing experience for the summer heat.

Copenhagen 30/10 2022. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Rotunden, Hellerup. Green label with a kindly tree with one red apple. A bit modest for a beer named Summer Fresh.
Pours unclear - on the verge of being hazy - with a small white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin, flimsy and patchy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet fruity odor mingling with tart notes. Sweet oxidized apple, ripe pear. Citrus and tart currants.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by slightly more moderate citric sourness. Aftertaste is tart with a light sweet undertone. Lingers for a bit. Finish is dry.
A bit Cider-lke but freshened up a bit with som tart citric notes.
