Driftwood is a pretty decent stout with a significant coffee flavor
Look: black with a half-inch tan head, nice lacing
Aroma: coffee, some chocolate
Taste: It is mostly oats and coffee in the flavor, some caramel and chocolate.
Body/Overall: medium to full body

Nice potent coffee/oat flavor. Growler from Las Cruces taproom.

On tap at brewery. Weak appearance starts this off, followed by average aroma and taste. Nice bit at the finish, but could possibly benefit from some vanilla or other accent. Weakest link....

This is a great stout. Got alot of coffee on it. Pretty thick but not incredibly heavy. Very black, wonderful nose. An impressively present beer for only 5 percent

On tap at the brewery on 3/29/2015. Tasting notes as follows. Darker brown, opaque body with a half finger offwhite head, fair retention, not much lacing. Smells of chocolate, caramel, earth, boiled oatmeal. Tastes primarily chocolate and earth, with a bit of nuttiness. A bit of caramel sweetness. Body is medium, good carbonation. Very straight forward oatmeal stout with a solid body and basic flavour profile. Delivers everything you'd expect of an oatmeal stout and nothing more.
