This all barley classic lager is light and crushable, but with a hint of smooth honey sweetness from the specialty malt addition. While it may be low on the bitterness scale it still has enough character to satisfy almost any beer drinker.

A- This pours with about a one finger loose bubbled head that is eggshell colored, and the retention isn't super great, leaving behind a thin patchy layer of foam that swirls around above the liquid. Carbonation appears to be decent, and rises swiftly in several columns, while the lacing is pretty much non existent, only contributing a watery layer around the inside of the glass. Overall it isn't anything special to look at.

S- Definitely the aromas are of sweet honey and barley malt.....the dominant aroma. There are underlying smells of sweet biscuits, fresh baked white bread, succulent yeast and a finish that reminds me of honeycomb/royal jelly and brown sugar.

T- Oh this is nice. The honeyed malt really shines through! Sweet malt, brown sugar/molasses, toffee, caramel richness, fresh bread, yeast, dry cracker/biscuit breadiness and a finish that is clean, crisp, slightly hopped and overall a well balanced honey lager!

M/O- Light mouthfeel, but with the honey, it just gives off a bit of richness. The carbonation is zesty, and the bubbles are plentiful, providing a good pop on the palate. This is highly drinkable....plenty of sweet flavor, not a high alcohol content, clean finish and plenty of freshness. I would definitely enjoy with a pizza slice or three, and it stands well on its' own.....would love to enjoy more than one in a session. Sadly, this brewery is no more as of Sep 2025, but I enjoyed this offering and can only hope that this sees the light of day again sometime......a honey anything seems to be a bit of a scarcity these days. Cheers!
