This stout is a hot mess. Looks stoutish enough albeit with large bubbles that dissipated almost immediately. The nose is rather off putting and any expectation of charm from the maple and coffee is doused in stale maltiness. The flavor profile further dooms this quaff with a plastic tasting quality. A very disappointing beer.

Served on tap at the brewery into a cylindrical serving glass.
A: Pours a ruby brown color with a half inch, tan head, modest retention and good lacing.
S: Aromas of cocoa and coffee.
T: Sweet. Palate follows the nose, but with strong, presumably lactose presence. Bitterness profile low in relation to sweetness.
M: Medium to full bodied with light to medium bitterness.
O: Enjoyable and drinkable. Winner of a day.
