Here is a place I think the lactose actually benefits the beer. At the brewery, the funk and the sour here make this a really interesting drink. Out of the oversized can into a tulip glass. Bit of particulate and large foam bubbles. Dank fruit in both the nose and taste like everything is overripe - apple, pear, peach and pineapple. Good blending of funk, sugar and hop.
