This is a North Fork collaboration with Earth Eagle Brewings in Portsmouth NH. Had in a tulip at the NF Brewery. Firstly let me say I wish there was a way to add a style of beer on this website. There are a number of sour varieties now and the only option I find even remotely appropriate is a Gose and this is not a Gose. This is a soured kettle ale that poured nicely and had some beautiful and pungent fruity notes on the nose. The beer drank very nicely with some berried fruit forward notes that are just past ripeness. Finished nicely and without a hint of the high alcohol content (for a sour beer).
