Decanted from a 32 oz (946 ml) crowler into a muffin top pint glass; no production data, but purchased on tap at North Fork Brewing Company on 08/06/20.
A: Pours a slightly hazy, golden with a one finger, short lived, white head, rim retention, and spotty lacing.
S: Bread factory, yeast bouquet initially with aromas of caramel, fruits (passionfruit, pear, pineapple, ripe peach) and very light pine predominate. Definitely a honey or honeysuckle note early, barley late. Complex and enjoyable.
T: No more than semisweet. Complex with flavors derived from the although honey and a hard to describe (pineapple and pear) fruitiness predominate. Relatively light bitterness which feels very much in balance.
M: Medium bodied with low to moderate carbonation. Alcohol burn not terribly evident, but hits you like a ton of bricks when it catches up. Finishes fairly cleanly.
O: Stickier Bandit seems somewhat unorthodoxly mild in the fruit palate, yet complex and subtle in its own right. An solid example of what can be done within the Imperial IPA style. Enjoyed it.
