Served on tap at North Fork Brewing in Riverhead, NY.
A: Pours a hazy, light amber/copper color with a one finger, wheat head, rim retention and relatively limited lacing.
S: Aromas of diner coffee, caramel and molasses. giving way to sarsaparilla as it warms.
T: Semisweet. I picked up the cold brew coffee, molasses, sarsaparilla, but very little chocolate (even though nibs were added). Bitterness is modest and reminded me of grain husks
M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
O: Described as a Blond Stout made with cold brew coffee, lactose, and chocolate nibs. Really not sure how it qualifies as a "stout," other than that adjuncts usually used in stout were used in it. Drinkable and enjoyable by anyone who likes adjuncts.
