Concocted for the holidays and keeping the grain sensitive drinkers in mind, Corporate Ladder Brewing rolls together a wintry fruit combination of plum, blackberry and apple with the spice of oak and vanilla for a rounded cocktail of fruit flavors.

Sugar Plum Fairy delivers a dense and rich mauve smoothie appearance. As a faint broken froth adorns the rim, the rich fruit scent of dark berry, stone fruit, cider and wine round out a savory, condensed and macerated fruit scent. Pastry sweetness greets the tongue with fruit rollup, jammy sweet and creamy flavors.

Its those vanilla and fruit flavors that develop a cream candy sensation on the middle palate, equipped with fruit glaze, pie filling and cobbler. Turning pleasantly tart, the flavors trend cidery and winey with the peppery character of fruit skins, seeds and oak providing just enough of a dry peppery balance to give the session drinkability and an off-cloying sense of lightness.

Still, full bodied fruit and tart on the finish, the drink continues with an aftertaste of red wine and fruit rollup. Not sure if it qualifies as beer, but it sure it tasty.
