You can almost see a slight haze in the glass. I didn't think it was much like a Kellerbier, but the sharp carbonation and frothy mouthfeel could convince me. It's actually rather sweet and the fruity hops are quite loveable. Tastes of orange peel, but light, with a berry note and some seeds and stems for the finish. Some modest bitterness with a mineral hint. All quite quaffable and I"d call it an excellent IPL. From the 16 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station. Canned on 05/18/2022.

these guys are good at this sort of thing, and this is predictably solid, modern with the dry hopping but also kind of old worldy to me with the yeast and it being unfiltered in just the right way where its more flavorful but no more heavy to drink, these guys really are killing it across a huge range of styles right now. straw colored beer with only a little less than full clarity and a permanent inch of white head with gorgeous ring lacing in the wake of each sip. aroma of melon, light green onion, under ripe strawberry, and lemongrass, idaho 7 and el dorado in play, but also still with a little noble pep to it, and some bitterness to my senses, neat take on a lager for this time of year. for being as dry hopped as it is, its actually somewhat more flavorful than aromatic. the flavor is cool too of course, fruit forward with more ripe melon and now some pear, but also like limey and even grassy type saaz notes. the lager itself is off dry with a really light tasting yeast strain, less european there than anticipated, but not neutral either, crackery is all, the water seems mineral rich, there is a cleanness to this, a high drinkability too but not a chugger for me, interesting enough to slow down just a little, and not over the top on carbonation either. cool beer, so many cool beers here, i wish i had the chance to try the noble hopped edition of this, hopefully next time!

16oz can served in a footed pilsner glass. Canned on 05182022. Bought it a couple days ago at Chuck's Hop Shop Seward Park.

Pours a hazy yellow-gold with a big head. Thick clumps clinging to the side of the glass. Smell is lager yeast, pineapple, lime, some grain and honeysuckle.

Taste is similar - pineapple is toned down, lime moves a little toward lemon / generic citrus, honeysuckle gets a little stronger.

Mouthfeel is light to thin, a slight bit of wateriness. Overall, very nice beer.
