On tap at the source.
Pours a hazy murky lemon yellow with a decent sized frothy white head that persists. Bitter earthy grassy nose with bits of citrus and tropical fruits. Up front the flavor is fruity hops but turns quickly into earthy bitter astringent phenols with a bit of higher alcohol. This one is rough.

From a 32oz growler, filled at the taproom 06/17/21. Served in an IPA glass.
Pours a dull, turbid, sort of oxidized mango colour with two-plus fingers of pouffy, fluffy head. Retention is excellent, leaving a fat curtain of gobby lacing.
Aroma is thick, creamy and rich. Not just reminiscent of pineapple ice cream; it actually smells like pineapple ice cream.
Taste does a 180 to the nose - instead of the pineapple creamsicle I was expecting, I get a mouthful of leafy green bitterness. Wow. I’m not finding any fruit expression at all, just tons of macerated tree leaf. I’m liking it, but it is a shock to the palate. OK, a pineapple and grapefruit juice show up late, mostly in the aftertaste.
Feel is satisfyingly round, just slightly mouth coating, medium-full bodied and brightly carbonated.
Overall, a seriously unusual NEDIPA. Juicy, but with the green leafy bitterness dial cranked up high. Supposedly hopped with Galaxy but I would have guessed Simcoe, too, and maybe aged on tree leaves.

Stopped into Post & Beam for a nightcap with daughter Caitlin on 23FEB20, after a pleasant day in Keene.
Had two 10oz pours of this, at $6.00 each.
Poured in small snifter, it was a cloudy, golden, dense, opaque bier. Had a creamy white layer of foam, with good lacing. The nose had lots of citrus coming forth, with grapefruit and pineapple most pronounced. It was pretty smooth on the tongue, with a decent, medium body.
Taste was slightly sweet at the start, with tangerine, pineapple and more grapefruit. Tended to towards the rindy, pithy, bitter side in a solid finish. Nice!! Prosit!
