Post & Beam Brewing Pale Ale - American
A very well balanced APA. Nice assertive hop with dry, crackery malt to back it up. Nice and easy. Grab one if you're just wanting to chill and relax.

From a 16oz can, undated. Purchased at the taproom 06/17/21. Served in a willi becher pub glass.
Pours a clear copper-gold with two fingers of fluffy foam. Retention is excellent, leaving a heavy, sudsy cap and a thick curtain of lacing.
Aroma is vanishingly faint but there does seem to be a puckery-sharp note. Wet grain and, frankly, I’m probably smelling my own dishwashing detergent.
Taste is, in fact, a bit sharp, puckery, and a little sickly-sweet. Concord grape juice, plum, white bread. Reminiscent of grape jelly on white bread. Honestly, it’s just a little unpleasant.
Feel is juicy, smooth bodied, well carbonated. A mildly slick, soapy feeling builds on the palate.
Overall, not a big fan of this one.
