not bad, but arguably my least favorite of the beers we had in here, the lime is perfumy to me and kind of fake, its overdosed and it even has some bitter almost pithy linger, which makes an otherwise pretty light beer kind of aggressive, they could scale this back and improve it quite a bit just by doing that, but its still summery and with some refreshment value. i believe they call it a mexican style light amber lager as a base and that seems about right, its not yellow, but its not really amber either, bronze at the darkest with imperfect clarity and a very short lived white head, some lime acidity likely breaking it down before it can really get established. there is a highly fragrant lime thing to the nose, lime candy to me, some kilned malt in support, minimal lager yeast character, this is rather basic and the lime really pops. its slightly chemical to me in the flavor, especially as the temperature warms, so fortunately im drinking it fast. i do like the little bit of extra malt, but its less carbonated than it could be and doesnt quite have the brightness to hit where i want it to, even though its tart at the end too. its frustrating because its close, like this kind of thing makes so much sense, its even kind of clever as a light amber type, but the lime part is overdone and a little cheap to me and the overall refinement of the beer is lacking. decent for a pint but not one i am in a rush to get back to.

L: Pours a pale straw yellow gold with a small white head and no lacing on the glass.
S: Aroma is kinda light and focuses on the lime on this beer and a little corn chip.
T: Very limey, and tart, don't get a lot of malt
F: Light crisp and easy drinking.
O: This Mexican lageris a bit limey for my taste.
