this place is absolutely awesome, a colorful latin american inspired brewery with some super clever beers on tap, an extension of denver beer co but quite a bit cooler, free standing building right there next to denver beer, quaint inside, small with a cute little patio out front. funky mexican flare inside, a small walk up bar with a nice little selection of beers on tap, lots to look at in here, excited vibes but also real chill, perfect spot for a friday afternoon hang. their beer list was most impressive, lime lager, pineapple blonde, tamarind mango gose, smoked dark lager with agave, that sort of thing, real clever all of it, a mean michelada, and overall some really thoughtful beers, cool collaborations, and neat uses of exotic ingredients, a lot of rather well executed good ideas. the smoked lager with agave and the tamarind mango gose were my favorites, but all were solid. the service was friendly, casual, and conversational, and time flew by in here. beer is supposed to be fun, and too often anymore its either all the same and woefully devoid of soul, or its taking itself far too seriously as more of a marketing ploy than any real increased focus on beer quality, so this place was a breath of fresh air. is it the most well made beer ever? no its not, but its inventive and drinkable and unique as they come, and id recommend a visit to anyone with a curious palate and tired of the same old. really fun stop, a highlight from our denver trip for sure. great space too, put it on your to do list!

The vibe is pretty cool, it has a modern taco shop/nightlife vibe and its honestly very nice. Smaller location makes it feel pretty cozy.

The quality was decent. I only grabbed a ¡Venga! but it had a traditional macro vibe which I guessnis what they were going for, I just thought it wouldn't have that off smell to it..

Service was honestly great. I walked in and it was completely dead, turns kut they were closing early and I showed up 10onutes until the only bartender was done, but she still almost insisted on giving me a beer which was pretty cool. I tried not to bother her too much after that, as they were trying to close.

Selection is alright, it's a few mexican inspired lagers and a few more traditional craft beers, take it as you will.

Got into town last night after a loooooooooooong drive up from Albuquerque with beery stops along the way. This new morning saw Sam’s #3 for green pork chili, Falling Rock for a few as ones do, and then over to the stadium for a ‘Mets over the Rockies 7-4’ and ‘Sandlot’ one-two. As the afternoon faded, we unfriendly Uber’d out in our imparededness to mix with polite society; the story I’m sticking to. A small strip with a pair of breweries attached to each other...

Oh, the place is done up in all its bright festiveness! Inside, and to the rear. A small straight plastic topped bar piece, with vertical wood plank base & a piping foot rail; seating for 4 on metal framed (like) tightly sewn leather low back chairs, and then another set up of the same running perpendicular (maths!) The barback corner is done up vertical wood plank with some colorful mural/collage action over 10 logo handled taps on a stainless panel and a crowler crimper countered below, and coolers and glassware down underneath. Draft selections listed on horizontal slat boards in a vertical row on the side wall there (beer, style, price, serving size, & ABV) in colored chalkings.

Peach wall uppers over brown wood trim lowers here, with a garage door half wall opening over the street fronting bar counter seating, and I think something orangey yellow, too, though I’m not sure if they weren’t the same and it’s lighting messin’ with ma’ mind. And then a half wall of different colored wood beams upright at different distances to each other, some bright blue pillars, and light blue walls and some brick on the side side. Concrete floors and rafter ceilings with ductwork. Drop beehive straw lamps, sea urchin single bulb lights, somewhat sunken spots, and steel cage lamps over the bar.

Bright festive colored flaggings across the room, a large ‘bridges not walls’ neon on the front wall, some random art (to me, anyway), prints of a guitar player and a kid getting a haircut, and bright colorful paintings. Shirts & swag in the rear corner. Chips (& salsa) in a case on the barback and a ‘beer slushy’ machine in the corner I would have been with not laying eyes on.

10 taps up (Venga!, Mexican Lager, 5%; Pancho Vill, DIPA, 9.6%; Mangolita, Mango Gose, 4.5%; Senor Pina, Pineapple Blonde Ale, 5%; Poblano Pils, Mexican Lager aged on smoked fresh Poblano peppers, 4.9%; Guayaba Fresca, Guava IPA, 6.4%; Coco Pingo, Ishpingo Cacao Saison, collab with Bandido Brewing, 6%; Churro Stout, Milk Stout with cinnamon & vanilla, 6%; La Fiera, Kettle Sour with Tamarind & Guava, collab with Cerveceria Caserio, 5.8% Horchata Blonde, Mexican Horchata, collab with Cerveceria San Pascual Baylon, 5.2%).

I thought the Poblano Pils was boss, although (Evil) Davo did not like the flavor profile. Witz’s Pancho Vill DIPA was equally very good; a total surprise to him, dry & wonderful. Churro Stout was thin and meh, and the Horchata Blonde, well, sure, cinnamon & vanilla, if that’s your thing. Oh!, and the Guayaba Fresca IPA was solid, that’s Mr. Guavaface, to you. So, Poblano Pils, Pancho Vill DIPA, & Guayaba Fresca IPA for the wins.

There’s a pair of pillowed leather comfy chair & stump table set ups just inside the door, 7 hightop hexagon tables with yellow, pale blue, & pinkish chairs of metal & mesh out across the floor, and a single long hightop shared on the backside. And a handful of tables out front deckside with some bar counter seating under 3-point fabric overhangs and strung bulb lighting.

Look. Some of these styles are not my jam, Horchata and Churro, no, not for me. But I enjoyed some of the other offerings, it’s true. Definitely an interesting selection, I’ll say that much, and well worth a looksie for one or three.
