Tastes like a blend of a doppelbock and a years old bottle of some dunkel. Too cloudy, too cake flavored. Not enough clean, dark fruity highlights. Couldn't finish the glass. It's got flavor but it's too rich and dirty for a dunkel. (2151)

Dark German lager that is light bodied, clean, and has a dry finish. It has flavors of coffee, toffee, cacao, and molasses.
