(16 oz pour at the Glassboro brewery yesterday)
I'll continue to say it, Bonesaw serves their beer way too cold... I got a good bit of espresso dominating the flavors here, maybe molasses... But cacao, no... Tobacco, maybe, but I don't have time to let this warm up for 30-45 min... the oatmeal element immediately makes me search for creamy/oily mouthfeel, and it wasn't to be in this pour... Oatmeal Stout to me has - well, first, the Samuel Smith brand is the benchmark - to have a nuanced array/display of various toasted, roasted grain flavors, and this ABO is clipped and too clean (like most of their brews)... This is far from a bad beer, but disappointing but not surprising, given their wares (2301)
