really tasty stuff, especially for a brand new brewery, their house ipa here in the early going, with a combination of amarillo, huell melon, idaho 7, and mosaic hops, a nice mix, covers all the bases i reckon, exceedingly dry hoppy, hazy, and fully on trend, i hope they can evolve beyond this sort of thing, but i agree that this is the way to bring them in here in the early going and get their name on the map, hazy is all anyone seems to want to drink right now. i like how forward the huell melon is in here, delicate as it is in general and compared to these others, i can appreciate its uniqueness in the nose and taste, which is really cool. grassy and limey, honeydew and bitter green tea, hops rising above the pretty sturdy grain base, this drinks a little heavier than it should at this strength, tons of starch and protein left in here it seems. i really do like the hops, still overly green and fresh, this tastes brand new, a little vegtal and bitey, they all kind of were a bit, but i still dig it. these guys are showing a ton of promise in the early going here, i liked just about all of them i had!
