the best of the non hoppy stuff that we had in here, this is a really nice beer, exactly what i want in the style. some yeast flavors, spiciness, and fruity esters but not phenolic or running away with the beer, fresh coriander complexion that doesnt get perfume-like or overly herbaceous, and a multigrain fuller fluffy body and layered taste, not just wheat in here. its also bone dry, fizzy like champagne, and low alcohol, sessionable and refreshing to the max, but beery, not dumbed down, even nerdy with the oats in here. i think they did a really great job with this, faithful to the style and what we all expect from it, but with a level of depth and freshness and intrigue that make it unique to this place. while i liked some of their hoppy beers even better than this, any idiot can (and unfortunately is) making a hazy ipa these days. this shows some real competency in the brew house well beyond what the hoppy ones demonstrate, at least for my money. a cool and unique take on the style, i love the malt bill and the mouthfeel. i hope they do more of this kind of thing moving forward and dont bet the house on the hazy stuff...

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
