not sure what this is hopped with, my first from these guys, but its super new school and robust, fruity without really being bitter, and is incredibly clean on the lagering. i think its technically very good, which is always a nice introduction to a new brewery, but this one is also distinctive and modern, so even better! clear radiant golden color from the tap but without much head, some bubbles rising up, and a big aroma of ripe melon, lemon, and heady sativa, green grape maybe too, but without the tang, really bright. the flavor isnt quite as poppy as the nose, but its close, and the hops must be a mix, some lime zest now, and a floral aspect, really springy and appealing, more hot weather than cold for sure. the lager yeast doesnt have much flavor but its fermentation is clean and the beer is real dry, i dont wish for anything else from it. some minerals late, very mild bitterness, and a little less carbonation than it seems to want, but its close. overall a really nice take on the style with a cool hop profile, not overdone at all. a neat spot, seemingly with a bright future!
