Sampled on tap at the brewpub.
Appearance: Black, with a small, tan head and no lacing.
Aroma: Dark malt, maybe a little fruit.
Taste: This beer tasted off to us, not necessarily diacetyl, I really cant describe it. Just a funky, strange taste that we did not enjoy. Did not have sufficient roastiness and depth of flavor to be a stout, in fact, not even to be a Porter. It tasted like a weak porter combined with an undetermined fruit juice. Or maybe not .. Very difficult to describe.
Mouthfeel: Very thin, and a bit too much prickly carbonation for a stout.
Drinkability: Neither of us finished our pint.
