Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a slightly hazy, medium golden amber with a two finger white head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of lightly caramel malt, citrus, dank and piney hops, tangerine, grapefruit and mild mixed tropical fruit. Flavor is lightly caramel malt, citrus and piney hops with light dankness, pine, tangerine, light stone fruit, hints of mixed tropical fruit. Solid citrus and pine bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied with light creaminess. The can says that I want a West Coast IPA and the can was right. Although this has definite West Coast pine and citrus, there's notable stone and tropical fruit notes as well. It's kinda busy, but I liked the hop bill from the start and it has kept my interest as I drink. Pushes the envelope, but fun to drink and has a solid hop bitterness throughout and in a lingering finish. Seems like a one-off, but I'd get this again if I saw it.
