A sticke (double) alt, German style ale.
Quite thick and frothy, beige head. Medium chestnut and orange appearance. Slightly sweet, roasted caramel and spiced medium dark roasted malts, for the aroma, with the tiniest hint of clove/allspice, in the background. Really ample, medium dark roasted grains, with a touch woody, caramel flavor, with almost a touch of sweetness. Full and quite smooth, with a little woody bite in support. This is a really enjoyable sipper.
