Bright gold with a foamy white head. Aromas of bread dough, lemon zest, herbal hops. Fresh-baked bread, herbal/spicy hops, lemon zest on the palate. Light-bodied with a crisp, slightly bitter finish.

Clear dark yellow body with a large rocky off-white head. Richer/darker than I expected, but still quite lovely.
Those nose is primarily noble hops (grassy, spicy) layered over a bready malt base that's again darker than I expected... somewhere between doughy multigrain and lightly toasted white bread as far as the spectrum. My mind goes to breadsticks, ha.
Flavour leads in with some lovely herbal noble hop profile over a lightly sweet malt base that's like little twinkling shards of sugar. There's some lemon citrus to it as well, and those two characters combine to give vague impressions of lemon-bars. Lemon bars isn't the predominant flavour, just how those two components combine. It's more about the herbal/spicy character from the hops and a slightly darker than just bread element to the malts. It may not be pure to standard, but I think it works really really well.
Moderate body with bitingly subtle carbonation and a lingering finish that really just kind of is a reprise of the flavour profile with lingering elements of dull noble hop bitterness, some ht sweetness, and a bit of oily lemon character.
