16 ounce draft pour into a Willi Becher.
L: 2 finger off-white head, thick foam with great retention, sticky lace, clear copper-amber.
S: Malty dark bread, honey, some spicy and herbal malt aromas.
T: Malty and a bit more sweet than the classic Germans, bread crust and honey, drys a bit but stays sweet to the finish, spicy hops stand up a bit on the back.
F: Medium body, soft feel, just enough carbonation for a minor crisp finishing bite, slightly chewy.
O: As noted, sweet for style but with a rich malt character, very drinkable, malt head’s delight.

On tap at the gastropub. Excellent view!
Appropriate appearance and taste with a somewhat distinctive aroma. Soft, smooth mouthfeel with near medium carbonation.
