Our flagship New England IPA. A smooth, hazy citrus explosion with hints of peach and tropical fruit ... Citra, Mosaic, and El Dorado.

Really enjoyable, Distraction makes a range of similarly hopped NEIPAs, DDHs and pale ales. I think this one is the best citrusy one and holds up the best in terms of balance and interest. The others seem lighter to me, although this one's not sweet, cloying or heavy by any means.

L - hazy off-orange with thin white head. Nice lacing.
S - grapefruit and orange. Nice mix and not overpowering. Nose remained to the end.
T - follows the nose with nice hoppiness.
F - medium mouthfeel with a slightly bitter ending. Lightly dry finish.
O - tasty. A solid beer for sure. Good representation of a NEIPA. Enjoyed it!

I'm told this is the same recipe as the Daily Distracted except that this one is brewed for a longer period of time.
Cloudy with an amber color. Minor head with few spots for lace.
I get a weedy smell with very little malt base.
The mouthfeel is a bit watery with a thinner body and a lower carbonation level. There's a brief pale malt start but the tale of the tape is the weedy hop bitterness. Oddly, despite the higher alcohol content, this is a more mellow version of the Daily Distraction.

A NEIPA that lives up to its name and description. Not intended to be a hop bomb but enjoyable experience of hazy citrus IPA. Medium body, smooth but not heavy. Deceptive 7.0 ABV. This is one IPA that you could enjoy without overwhelming the senses. Definitely seesionable.
