Nearly no initial head. It settles to the finest of rim bubbles. Minuscule spots on the glass. Deep brown color where light passes through the center.
Skunky, perhaps more than I've ever experienced. It's difficult to draw out darker malts here. Surprisingly, no alcohol nose.
The flavor is better than the smell. Semisweet with a presence of molasses and darkened caramel. Some boozy warmth.
