Had on-tap at Burning Barrel Brewing in Rancho Cordova, CA
Appearance - Served up in an oversized tulip, hazy and faded orange in color with a thin, broken layer of suds on the surface. Sub-par lacing with a small, broken strands of webbing and some tiny spotting.
Smell - Soft, citrusy aroma with hints of leaf and tropical notes.
Taste - Follows the nose. Soft but full of flavor. Non-descript citrus, some fresh leafy character, hints of mango and guava, and some mineral quality. Finish lingers much the same.
Mouthfeel - Light-to-medium in body with fair carbonation. Soft, velvety smooth texture before a crisp, slightly dry and easy finish.
Overall - While technically a (hazy) IPL, it really reminds me of the original NE-Style hazies like Heady. Soft, flavorful and super crushable.
