Appearance - Pours thick and opaque and crram in color with an off-white, near finger width head. Sub-par retention, resulting in a barren surface. Lacing, if that's what you'd call it, is fine sediment rather than suds.
Smell - Peanut butter really stands out on the nose, with lesser banana and a touch of vanilla
Taste - Super creamy, with banana more prominent than the peanut butter. Hints of vanilla and sugary sweetness. Finish is mostly banana, though peanut butter shows more life as the brew fades in the aftertaste. Peanut butter develops as it warms.
Mouthfeel - Super thick with very little carbonation. Slight chalkiness from all the sediment, but this is easily the creamiest beer I've had to date.
Overall - Definitely a dessert beer. You get more banana pudding than a peanut butter and banana blend, at least at cooler temps, but it's tasty nonetheless.
