this is truly mental beer, among the best ive had from these guys, great to see the cans popping up, this is done with yarrow flowers, not sure ive seen that as a beer ingredient before, way cool, but this is about their yeast, the ferment here is insane, and the carbonation is champagne, even more aggressive, wow this can was about to burst if i flicked it right. the head settles fast though, and its unremarkable in looks, hazy, blonde, sort of still, whatever. the nose and taste have a slightly familiar wildness, bitterness, astringency, mixed fermentation it seems here for sure, hoppy, bretty, iodone, medicinal herbs, could be the yarrow, pollen, ginger nuance, vitamin c tabs, lemongrass, this sure hits intense. amazing how the carbonation stays awhile, even as i sip this can slowly, and cool how it opens up, dandelion and a little attitude, licorice root, elderflower, lime zest and plenty of it! quite a lot of hops, possibly old varietals, light pineapple though, challenging me, really good overall, brisk and refreshing too. these cans are understated and great, this is advanced beer in the funky saison realm, cool ingredients and a wild side, good attention to detail even though its just short of perfect. definite gin an tonic notes too as it sits, love that. id love to say im enjoying it with oysters or some heady summer heirloom tomato salad, but im ripping this with some late night delivery working class pizza, and its just as heady. one love!

Poured from a can at fridge temp. Pours a transparent yellow with a thin layer of fairly "loose" head. Not sure how else to describe it - not thick and gooey. The nose is fantastic. Floral notes, lemon, sour patch kids, funk, slight vanilla, grass, and more sweet candy. Wow - what a great mix of smells.
The taste is delicious. Sour upfront. Lemon, orange, tart, grass, that floral note (I'm assuming the yarrow flowers?), a good amount of barnyard funk, wheat, leather, and a slight spicy oak note. My first thought is that this is just a really fun beer to taste. Lively and enjoyable. Mouthfeel is dry and fairly light. Nice sweet aftertaste. Great beer.
