473 mL can from a friend (who bought it at the brewery); dated Oct 25 2023 and listed at 4%. Served slightly chilled.
Pours clear pale golden; clearly unfiltered, as there is a fair bit of sandy sediment hovering throughout its body. Situated atop is one finger of frothy, bone white head that lasts for a little over a minute, quickly whittled down to a tight collar and an islet of film; yeah, it looks like a light lager. Grainy, doughy malt aromas with suggestions of lemon and grassy hops.
It tastes fine - nothing exciting, but more flavourful than a macro light beer for sure. A little bit of sourdough at the forefront, with doughy pale malt sweetness and thin graininess; maybe a touch of lemon water on the back end, with a grainy finish that fades to mineral water. Light in body, with moderate carbonation that gently prickles the tongue; feels crisp, but also thin and watery. It's refreshing, and very crushable.
Final Grade: 3.7, a B grade. Crop Tour is an above average craft light lager - maybe a little rough around the edges, but it's got more personality than most examples of this style, which goes a long way with this beer geek. Stonepicker is barely 40 minutes away from me, and has been open for more than five years, so you'd think I'd have checked the place out by now... but nope. They're only open three days a week, and their hours overlap with my work schedule. I really need to book an afternoon off some time and head over there to try out the rest of their lineup.

From a growler purchased at the brewery on this date. My card says 4.5%
Pours straw coloured with a 1cm head. The smell is grainy and biscuity. The taste is nice and refreshing, not bitter but still nicely flavourful for a light lager. Overall a nice afternoon quaffer
