On tap at brewery:
Pours a very light/pale yellow golden, with a decent soapy head that falls at a moderate pace. The detraction is the haze - an almost perfect picture of it, light bending but translucent.
Nose is malt and metallic grassy hops - which is how I’d generally describe the macro brews like Budweiser. The nose on this is more prominent and a tad more bitter. There’s no mention of “adjunct” though there is a distinct corn note I get in the smell after it warms slightly.
Fairly clean, but with a body that’s a little more full than the big guys AALs, especially their light beers. Nicely carbonated and decently dry.
The flavors are malt with a corn-like back, a grassy hop note with a nice bitter level and an appreciated light tinny note. This is a nice version of an AA?L, though one that is a little more full than its “light” description.
