Nitro at brewery:
Creamy beige-tan head atop black body. Lacing is pretty good. Feel is pretty smooth/slick and soft, but with a nip of bite from the barrel aging.
Nose is of an after dinner coffee with a nice tip of booze in it. There’s a sweetness in the taste that (when combined with the feel) leans Baileys but with a little more bite. A bitter chocolate with a coffee liqueur comes to mind.
While a lot of the descriptors I’ve used indicate sweetness, the beer is not overpoweringly sweet. It could be attenuated more for my tastes, but is a fair BA offering from a younger brewery.
