Had this one on tap at Carlyle Brewing on 10/11/2008.
A= This beer poured a slightly cloudy medium yellow gold color with a decent 3/4" snow white head which dropped quickly to nothing. Very little lacing to speak of.
S= I found it hard to get an aroma off of this beer. Even after letting it warm a bit, all I could get was a whiff of sweet malts.
T= I was pleased very much by the taste of this brew. All of the malty, spicy, nutty flavors that I associate with a good fest bier were present. Finish was just dry enough to make me want the next sip.
MF= Medium bodied with a crisp carbonation and mouthfeel.
D= This was a pleasant surprise and a beer I would order again as it goes down very easy. Would pair well with pizza or almost any pub grub.

Draught @ Brewpub: This one pours a somewhat hazy, dark golden color, with a slight coppery hue. There was a small white head with some lacing. The nose is somewhat malty with a hint of spiciness. The taste is a medium malt body with a touch of bitterness and spices. Slightly tart, dry finish. OK, but nothing special.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
