Pours a gold color with a minimal head that lasts quite a while. Aroma of floral notes and grains. Taste is tangy with a slightly bitter finish. Crisp and dry.

Pours a cloudy gold into a dimpled mug with ample foam and lacing. Lasting retention.
Biscuity pilsner malt and grassy hop character that lingers into the dry aftertaste. Zero corn.
Crisp with a light bitterness, light bodied with substance from the suspended yeast.
Overall this was a nice and drinkable Zwickel.
Thanks to Tom for this one!

A Zwicklebier, for your enjoyment.
Pours true to style with a fantastic toasted biscuit note on the finish. Low hoppiness with a touch of grass on the sip. Another winner.

Decent lager sampled on tap at local gastropub. Looks clear golden, faint amount of white head that quickly fades and no real lingering lacing. Smells of corn, malt, grain, a little caramel and vanilla. Taste follows the nose - and the malt and corn is really in the foreground. Smooth thin mild mouthfeel, decent carbonation. A little bit of a weird corn aftertaste. Decent for a quick beer but I probably would pick other lagers if given a choice.
