Big taproom that was very spacious. lots of beers on tap with multiple styles. Food was really good. Highly recommend the Sloop burger! Service was terrible, took us 20 minutes to even get acknowledged then another 20 to get served 1 beer, 1 wine, and 2 sodas on a day that wasn't that busy. My fiancee said she was gluten free and not by choice due, she's allergic and the waitress was very snotty about it acting like her questions were a bother. I love juice bomb and it's definitely in my top 5 beers so the bad service at this brewery was such a let down and I will not be returning anytime soon. Also FYI they don't sell ANY merch in 2x or 3x :(

My first visit was a Fri afternoon for a beer and lunch with the niece. Up the wooden ramp and down the long concrete corridor lined with darkened widows looking into the brewery proper ( somebody has a lot of mopping yet to do) and around to the left into the cavernous beer hall area. Brightly painted with open ceiling showcasing the myriad of ducts, pipes and wires overhead we weave our way through a couple dozen picnic tables to the bar.
Great bar of more concrete with odd and fascinating do dads and electronic switch gizmos and gauges epoxied into the surface, all flotsam found in the building during renovations of the former IBM ( contractor) computer component facility. Huge and annoyingly bright retro marquee style beer menu set in view of the bar seats, all beers available, sizes, prices and ABV listed.
Simple but tight food menu and hard copy beer menu was presented by a tag team of very friendly bar tenders.
We ordered burgers and a Riblets app both of which were excellent for the price. I would suggest a double ( plus good!) burger be added but I recognize the evil genius of offering small portions of good food at a reasonable price as a recipe for ordering another.
The beer was fresh and crisply citrusy each with varying degrees of haze. The Black Razz tasted like I remember and was the only beer I noticed where the haze infuser must have been set ( appropriately) to 0. My DoublePlusGood DIPA was balanced and delicious , haze infuser maxed out to 11 I believe and the Sloop Lager was nutty and mildly malty with a haze setting of what appeared to be 2. I went in looking for a Stout but none were available. It's March folks - does any brewery make a Porter or an Oat Stout any more??
I'm very pleased to see Sloop growing and getting the love from locals as well as branching out to neighboring states, spreading the haze love wherever they go. I know this brewer and judged his beers at HB competitions in his formative years where he deservedly earned many awards year after year. I know he can make more than just hazy "Pale Ales" so we haven't seen the best Sloop has to offer yet by a long shot.

New Sloop location just cut down my drive time by 1/2, so I am a big fan of this spot....unusual, in a soon to be converted and re-developed old IBM industrial factory. Loads of tap flowing and cans available to go at the bar.
They are turning out pizzas and a bunch of other tasty chow options.
Good spot to get some lunch, enjoy multiple tasty beer options....great place to pick up a few tasty four packs of their great takes on NEIPA....

Located in a portion of the old IBM facility this place is huge and hopping. Tastingroom looks like it was a cafeteria back in the day. Big room with 40 or more tables and a counter bar that reminded me of the service counter at a drive-in movie. Maybe 8 beers on tap... cans and bottles to go. Place was packed on Thursday night very loud. Not a fan of the color scheme, a bit too playschoolish for me. Did not try the food, but I'm sure I'll try it at some point cause I'll surely be back.
