NEIPA style, creamy and cloudy. The aroma had a light hint of orange and pine on it. I’m getting papaya, pineapple, and … tropical punch? The taste makes me think of a orangey creamsicle drink, with some light hop bitterness and a minor, mild hop burn. This was excellent.

My friend left this in my fridge about a month ago and decided I would crack this beer open and try it. There’s no date on the can, but I’m assuming this was from there May release. I didn’t have high expectations for this beer going in. Saying that though my expectations were greatly exceeded.

Taste: The beer is a decadent basket full of bursting tropical and stone fruit flavor. Tons of papaya and honeydew explode on the front of the tongue, followed by waves of peach, mango, and pineapple flavors in the mid palette. There is just a touch of biscuity maltiness that transitions to this semi light yeasty bubblegum note that mixes with notes of lemon and passionfruit on the backend of the palette. This mix offers up a really vibrant fruity bubblegum expirence that adds a deep layer of complexity to the beer.

Feel: This is a full creamy mouthfeel. The beer is full, but so soft and pillowy on the tongue at the same time. Arvon knocked this beer out of the park when it comes to the mouthfeel.

Overall: I’m blown away by this beer. This is an elite offering when it comes to taste and mouthfeel. The nose lacks a bit, but really it doesn’t matter because the rest of the beer is executed flawlessly. Arvon deserves way more attention then it gets. Anyone that loves this style needs to try this beer.

Very dark and murky orange brew, nearly brown or green. Head production and retention are excellent.

Nice hoppy nose, a mix of mandarin orange, bright herbs, dark notes, mint, oregano, grapefruit, peach, strawberries, lemon, light cracker, pepper, and honey.

Flavor follows. The malt bill is a bit confusing, with dry biscuit and sweet white bread simultaneously presenting on the palate along with a very slight kiss of caramel.

The hops are about exactly what you'd expect with Galaxy and Cascade: papaya, mango, very light citrus (grapefruit, orange, lemon), restrained but noticeable dankness, grass, pepper, berries, pear, white grapes, and some brighter herbs - less so than in most Galaxy brews, which could be a function of exactly when this was consumed in terms of age (it's quite fresh, but these hops tend to develop over time, presenting more or less herbs and dankness).

Wonderfully smooth while still lively on the palate; an excellent representation of the style. A touch dry, perhaps, with a relatively short finish - dry hop bitterness lingers - but that is only with respect to the style. Fairly low-to-moderate bitterness overall. Very drinkable, and easy to keep coming back to sips very quickly.

16 ounce can, dated DEC 18 2018. Pretty fresh I’ll say! Poured into tulip.
Pours a muddled and dirty rosy orange. About a finger’s worth of head that left quickly.
That nose is killer! Pineapple, honey, guava, citrus.
Tropical fruits, grass, pine, some grapefruit, maybe a hint of pear.
Feels thin until you do a quick swish in your mouth; tiny bubbles give the impression of a creamy beer.
Impressed, for a newer brewery they are making tasty beers right out of the gate.
