Hazed golden-orange with two fingers of creamy-looking, off-white head. It settles into a wisp after a minute or two and leaves a moderate amount of lacing.
Big green onion with a hint of pine in the nose. Dank is definitely an appropriate adjective, but it’s more of a fresh, oniony dankness than rotting jungle dankness.
Man, it just piles on in the taste, too. Tons of green onion; some orange; pine tar; a kiss of alcohol. It’s sharp and intense. And it lingers in the aftertaste with a fair amount of bitterness.
The feel is on the light side of medium bodied with a little stickiness to it. There’s some zingy carbonation.
This is a great beer. It’s what all those old-school, West Coast IPAs wish they were. The flavors just sing in this one.

Nice DIPA here, nice brilliant amber in the glass, reasonably clear, slight lingering head. Smells citrus, bready, soft strawberry, pine. Bright on the tongue, hides the alcohol nicely, dank bitter hops, smooth, citrusy, piney, easy drinking for 9.2%.

A nice refreshing change of pace from the everyday hazy IPA. A very well done West Coast style DIPA.
-Look is a burnt amber. Almost clear with a foggy hue. Head is fluffy white. Settles to spotty oily lace.
-Smell is dank, spicey, piney hops.
-Taste is classic west coast style. Up front blast of piney dank resinous grassy hops. Mild malt bill.
-Medium body. Sticky mouthfeel. Finishes bitter with a mild alcohol burn
