2-month-old can poured into a tulip glass.
Orange-gold mango juice body that leans a little dark. Full haze with a touch of creamy murk. Finger of sudsy bubbles of various sizes that looks pillowy soft. Head sticks around for a few sips, then collapses to a thin but sticky latte foam cap. Lots of streaks and splotches of soapy lacing. Incredibly juicy looking, but the slight muddiness (dark coloring and murky haze) knocks the grade down just slightly.
Huge nose of mango, pineapple, melon, sweet orange, apricot, nectarine, and guava. Big dankness to go with the fruit salad, but it isn't oniony or piney, just really dank grassiness with perhaps a touch of weed. Peach skin, some biscuity malt, and a little herbal. Smells sweet, with 90% of that being fruit and around 10% sporting a lactose and confectioners sugar vibe. Reminds me a lot of Double Down Mosaic (my first of the series), even though on paper I should be getting a lot of different notes from the different core hops. But I actually like the nose on this one a little more.
That's true of the the taste experience too -- both the incredible similiarities to Double Down Mosaic and the fact that I think I like this one more. The tongue isn't as layered and distinct as the nose, but is instead a muddled but enjoyable melange of overripe fruit wrapped in a semi-sweet, doughy, grassy, and dank package. There's once again a strong herbal but only slightly "green" characteristic, but that goes well with the overripe pineapple, nectarine, peach, mango, tangerine, and berry. Faint traces of bitterness and pith, with the pleasant sweetness lingering until a sharp fall off to a distinct mineral note. There's some faint lemon-lime and tropical fruit salad in the aftertaste that works well with that last mineral (starchy?) note. Incredibly juicy beer.
Feel is on point for the style and size. Silky and creamy without being sticky, very well carbonated (adding to the softness), zero booziness or heat (past the sweet overripe fruit notes, which come off as a bit boozy in and of themselves). There's a slight prickle, but I think that's the starchy green element, not the carbonation. Not a bad thing, either way.
I've liked the Double Down beers that I've tried, but they don't quite get into "fantastic" territory for me (4.25+). This one is my favorite of the ones I've tried, though. Easy drinking and quite tasty, to be sure.

ONE PINT can
Served in a stemless wine glass
This beer pours an orangish yellow color and is turbid. It is topped with an inch of tan head that leaves spotty lacing.
The smell is a little dank with some melon and citrus.
The taste is citrus. Grapefruit stands out. A little grapefruit rind bitterness.
Medium bodied with a chalky mouthfeel
This is a fine beverage. At least this can wasn't oxidized. It is a little rough around the edged but a solid beer.
