ONE PINT can
Served in a stemless wine glass
This beer pours a deep, hazy, orange hue. It is topped with an inch of tan head that leaves nice lacing.
Disappointing aroma. It smells oxidized even though it doesn't appear to be. I get a sweet smell and attempts at tropical notes.
The taste is not much better. It tastes likes a sweet mess with hints of pine and citrus.
Full bodied and creamy mouthfeel
If I said it once, I've said it 1000 times. Arvon makes great IPAs unless they are oxidized, which sadly, seems to be a problem. This one didn't pour brown like toilet water, but it did smell and taste like a recent oxidized beer that I had from them. I hope they get it figured out. I love their stuff. I had a great run of unoxidized IPAs from them. Now two in a row.
